11am: Introduction by M. CHABERT, President of France Energies Marines

11:15am: Presentation by M. SARMENTO, President of WavEC Offshore Renewables (PT) :
– Feedback from sea trials for floating offshore wind turbines and wave energy devices off Portugal: new technological barriers and impacts
– Viewpoint on MRE research in Europe: mutualization to move the sector forward

11:45am: Presentation of France Energies Marines S&T roadmap, objectives and challenges of the four research programs by M. DE ROECK, FEM Scientific Director
– Tools and methods for site characterization
– Technology conception tools for EMR applications
– Environmental and socio-economic impacts
– Array architecture and network integration

12pm: S&T panel discussions
– Hydrodynamic and hydrosedimentary characterization of tidal sites: example of the raz Blanchard Blanchard (with participation of FEM, DCNS, IFREMER, SHOM, UNIVERSITY of CAEN);
– MRE impacts on the Benthos (with participation of FEM, EDF-EN, INP GRENOBLE, IFREMER, UNIVERSITY of CAEN);
– Design tools for floating wind turbines (with participation of FEM, ADWEN, INNOSEA, EOLINK, ECOLE CENTRALE de NANTES);
– Multicriteria optimization tools for array architecture and electrical networks (with participation of FEM, EDF, UNIVERSITY of NANTES).

4:30pm: FEM services to the MRE sector (with participation of POLE MER BRETAGNE ATLANTIQUE and GDR EMR, NORMANDIE Region, BUREAU VERITAS, OERA – Offshore Energy Research Association, CANADA):
– Strengthening the link with academic and professional associations;
– Supporting local and regional authorities;
– Working with certification organisms;
– Influencing European and international strategies.

5:30pm: Closing of the tribune by M. BORDAIS, Responsible for ITE Program, Agence Nationale de la Recherche
